Garfield Engineering was first established as a family business in 1952, employing two people. Today we are still a family business that is 100% Australian owned and made. We have been associated with the Astra product since 1973, when it was based in Mentone, Victoria. Garfield Engineering had the opportunity to purchase Astra out right in 1999. We now not only manufacture but we assemble and dispatch all Astra products from our factory in Garfield, Victoria.
