Welcome to JB Automotive

JB Automotive has been operating since 1989 in Ayr, North Queensland. Established primarily as an automotive workshop, the business has now grown to incorporate an engine reconditioning and performance engine shop. To expand our reconditioning services new machinery has been purchased to compliment the existing machine shop. The machinery now on site includes – An engine balancer, conrod and piston hone, lifter bushing installation and a fully computerized engine dyno facility that boasts the latest data acquisition. This facility now allows our customers to have their engine fully built and dynoed on site. We also sell and stock high quality engine componentry such as, Dart blocks, CP pistons, GRP alloy rods, Clevite bearings, PSI valve springs, Dailey engineering oil pumps and Moroso dry sump pans and tanks, Magnafuel fuel system components just to name a few. High performance fuels and oils are available here. Oils such as Fuch's lubricants, Joe Gibbs, and fuels like Sunaco and VP leaded and unleaded.
