The Spatial Research Group was formed as an interdisciplinary body, dedicated to the development of research-based practice within the context of the university environment. The group has evolved from the disciplines of art and architecture, design and multimedia, with emerging involvement from researchers in the cognitive and behavioural sciences. The principle aim of the group is to explore the diverse ways in which human beings transact with their environment, and how this transaction might shape our social and cultural development. We undertake art & design commissions to test the theoretical boundaries of our research.
